Who we are

What this is

People upload unpaid bills. Other people can choose to pay them. A payment is a voluntary gift from the person who pays to the person who uploaded the bill. Nobody is owed anything and nothing is promised in return.

If you pay a bill

• You pay the amount of the bill plus a platform fee of 8% (minimum €1), both shown before you pay. The fee includes any VAT due.
• The amount of the bill goes to the person who uploaded it, through Stripe. The fee is ours.
• Payments are not refundable, except when we find that a bill was fake. In that case we refund you when the money can still be recovered.

If you upload a bill

• You must be 18 or older and live in one of the countries in the form.
• The bill must be yours, real and unpaid. Fake or edited bills mean your account is closed and any payment is refunded.
• To receive money you open a Stripe Express account. Stripe verifies your identity and pays you out; its terms apply too: Stripe Connected Account Agreement.
• We review every bill by hand and can reject any without giving a reason.
• You can have up to three open bills at a time, between €5 and €500 each.
• What you receive may count as a gift for tax purposes where you live. That is your responsibility.

What we show

Your first name, city, who charges you, what for, the amount and your one line. Never the photo, your surname, your address or your bank details.
